I know I said it last month, but these months are just flying by! It’s time for my monthly Life By Lens post. In case you haven’t seen any of these posts, Life by Lens is a blog circle that I’m participating in with a group of photographers from across the country. Each month we post a blog and link to each other. We decided to do the theme of motion for this month. I’m doing a 365 project on my personal facebook page (that I’m behind on…) where I take a picture every day. They’re typically just pictures of my day to day life, so, this month, I tried to take picture of the motion in my life. With a 3.5 year old and a 2 year old, there’s a lot of motion in my life!
Every night before bed, Clara runs into Annabelle’s room to give her “one more kiss.” If I forget, Annabelle is always sure to remind me. Dave also has to run in and give her one more kiss, but I didn’t get a picture of that. 🙂
And I decided to play a little bit with long exposure and motion. My parents have a gazebo with lights on it, so one night I tried it out using that! I had my daughter and niece dance, and my sister and her good sport of a boyfriend helped me out too. 🙂
And I shared these on Annabelle’s 2 year birthday post, but I love it, so I’m sharing again! 🙂
Make sure you continue on to Maria’s post here at Whimsy Photography Studio in Syracuse, NY!
I love these! I love that you captured those moments with your girls, and I love the perspective of the one in the tubby! The long exposure in the gazebo is so neat!!
I love getting a glimpse into your life — so very sweet the nightly ritual. Love the long exposure and the swinging shot!
