Yet another month has flown by! It’s time for our monthly blog circle, Life By Lens. It’s been a very hectic November, but I felt like our theme this month is an important one to share. With Thanksgiving coming up next week, we decided to post about what we’re thankful for. I’m very lucky…I could write a ridiculously long post on this topic. Believe it or not, I cut out quite a bit! There’s just so much I’m grateful for!
First, I’m so thankful that I’m able to be home with my girls every day. It takes some sacrifice (working in the evenings until after midnight every night during the busy season is one of them!) and some days I admit that being home alone with a 2 year old and a 3 year old makes me feel like I’m losing my mind, but I’m so grateful that we even have the option. I love that I get to be around every day for these moments.
I’m thankful for the relationships in my life. I have an amazing group of friends from high school and we all make it a priority to get together regularly, both as adults, and with our children. I’m also very close with my family, and there’s very little that makes me happier that seeing my girls interact and develop their own relationships with my friends’ kids, my niece and nephews, and my cousins’ children.
I’m so thankful for my family, who are all always willing to help me and love my girls so much!
I’m extremely thankful for my husband, who has supported me in my photography business, (almost) always willingly acts as my assistant when I come up with my weird and sometimes embarrassing ideas, acts like a monkey behind me to make my girls smile, who helps me around the house and with the girls and lets me sleep in on weekends.
And of course, I’m unbelievably thankful for my girls. They’re happy and healthy and growing up so fast! I’m so lucky to have them!

This post is just lovely JoAnna. You truly DO have so much to be thankful for. I would give anything to be able to stay-at-home with my girls. You can just see how much they LOVE their mommy in these photos!
And, I am obsessed to the second to last set of pictures. Your hubby jumping with the kiddos is just too much! <3
I love how real your photographs are. You are definitely lucky to have so many lovely people in your lives.
Love your blog posts, your pictures, and you!!! 25+
You are absolutely right! This was such an important post and I cannot believe I missed it. These are all of the reasons I wanted to do this circle to begin with. You captured such beautiful moments with your family! I am in love with the cornfield shots!
