It’s time once again for our monthly blog circle, the first one of 2014! In case you haven’t been following along, Life By Lens is a project I’m participating in with a group of photographers from across the country. On the 20th of each month, we post some of our personal pictures. Make sure you go to see Reena’s post next!
I couldn’t decide what to share this month, so I decided to share 2 sets. 🙂
The first is a set of my girls in their ballet getups. My 3 year old started dance this year, and I love it. Of course my 2 year old wants to join in, so they both cooperated for a ballet themed shoot. 🙂
And my baby and her loveys. She’s attached to these things, and I love capturing how much she loves them!
We took the girls to the National Aquarium in Baltimore this weekend. We went for their Fridays after 5 special (which used to be $5…now $12, which is significantly more affordable than their usual entrance fee) and the girls had a great time. It was an extremely challenging location to photograph. It was very crowded, my camera had a very difficult time catching focus in the low light and getting proper white balance was a nightmare (which is why some are black and white…I gave up!). But it’s good to challenge yourself once in awhile.

Beautiful girls:) Aquariums have got to be the toughest places to shoot. Great work!
