I had a lot of high hopes for Gemma’s newborn shoot. Other photographers warned me that doing my own newborn session would be tough, and it definitely was! She’s a pretty laid back baby, but has always been touchy with sleep. She doesn’t like to be messed with or moved (such as from my arms…ever!) and that definitely made things challenging! It was really important to me to get a few good pictures of my 3 babies, and luckily my big girls were extremely cooperative. They love holding their baby sister!

And here she is at 6 weeks!  I love her sweet little smile!
