Sometimes babies hate their cake smashes. It’s a possibility I always let parents know about in advance. It’s a totally new and strange situation for them. This was not the case for Tess’s cake smash. She dove in…literally! It was so much fun. I understand when babies are tentative about their cake smash session, but when they dig in and make a huge mess, I love it! Even if it makes more work for me afterwards!!
