If you know me at all, you know I love Ocean City (like really really love OC), but I actually don’t venture down to the Boardwalk that frequently during the summer. When I was in middle and high school I’d go all the time (when taking the bus alone was a huge adventure…and one I can’t imagine sending my own kids on! I took the bus, with just my sister, a friend, or cousins, to the boardwalk without an adult, all with no cell phones, obviously. The thought of one of my kids doing that now scares me to death!) but now, lugging all the kids down there is something we only do for a special night or a rainy day!
But this is where the Hobbs family (who happen to be my cousins) have their place. It’s special to them, and they really wanted to have the scenes of the Boardwalk in the background. I was so glad we decided to meet there. I was thrilled with how their session came out. It was an absolutely beautiful evening, and even though it was pushing Emmalyn’s bedtime, she pushed through and did great. The light was beautiful, and I just love seeing the rides in the background. It reminds me of an old fashioned post card. I love all of these pictures, but the ones with the rides and pier in the background are my favorites!
