I love family portraits in early fall! It’s such a great time, weather-wise, color-wise, everything! Last year, I did a few sessions at Butler’s Farm in Germantown. We were lucky with great weather, and the farmer was so helpful in guiding everyone to where I was located.
I’ve known this family for several years now! I did Tatiana’s newborn pictures a couple years ago and, though I didn’t know it last fall when I took these pictures, I’d be doing her little brother’s newborn pictures in the winter! I know I say it all the time, but there’s something so special about watching my clients’ families grow. I love seeing my newborn clients grow into toddlers and sometimes become big brothers and sisters! It’s such a wonderful feeling being a part of capturing these moments for families. I hope that in 20 or 30 years, these kids look at the pictures I’ve taken and are able to show them to their own children (which is why you all should be printing your pictures, either through me or somewhere else, but that’s another post!).
