I strive to give my clients an amazing experience, ending with beautiful pictures, so I am always honored when they pass along my information to friends and family. Word of mouth is honestly how I meet most of my new clients, and that’s exactly how Janice and I connected. Readers from Baltimore know that we often call our city Small-timore, because even though it’s a bigger city, everyone is connected somehow! Janice has a friend from high school whose sister I have photographed many times, and who also was a classmate of mine! I also happened to go to elementary/middle school with Janice’s friend (her sister was in my class), though she was several years younger than me.
Last year I had the pleasure of meeting the Hernandez Family for a family session. She was hoping to book a beach session, but unfortunately I didn’t have any availability left. Thankfully, we were able to coordinate our schedules to make a session closer to home happen. I offered Janice and her husband a couple of locations that would be convenient to where they live, and I was thrilled they chose Soldiers Delight in Owings Mills. It is a beautiful backdrop any time of the year, and the light there never disappoints. Light is the most important element of a gorgeous picture.
Here are some of my favorites from our session together last fall. Whenever there’s a toddler involved, you never know what you’re doing to get. They can be major wild cards. But Max was adorably sweet, and I love how their gallery came out!
This summer, I was also able to see them for a beach session with their extended family! I’ll be blogging their session for sure!
